
The 4 rules of nutrition will help polish up your eating habits and put your results into overdrive.
Rule #1
Total Calories: Your body requires a certain amount of calories to maintain it’s current weight. If you want to reduce weight you must consume less calories then you currently average on a daily basis. This can be done simply by eating less and or eating better quality foods which are usually lower in calories. There are many formulas to figure out how many calories one should eat in a day. An easy one is to add a zero to your current weight. That is thought to be close to the amount of calories needed to maintain you current weight. If you want to lose weight just add a zero to your goal weight and that is the amount of daily calories you should consume to reach that goal. To assure that the weight you lose is from fat stores make sure you follow the other three rules of nutrition that you can read in the next 3 entry of the “Fit Post”.
